Mud Puppy Spaw offers a 100% transparent environment where clients are free to watch the grooming process at any time. Dogs are also in view of staff at all times and will notice a stressed out pup quicker than if he/she were kenneled in a separate area. Most dogs seem to enjoy watching the excitement of a busy salon; don't be surprised if you are welcomed by a variety of happy barks!
My name is Tiffany Hughes and I love dogs! I've been in the pet care business for over 25 years starting with pet sitting then growing into dog training and finally dog grooming. I feel blessed to have years of experience with training dogs and their owners as it gives me a unique perspective to read dogs and be sure they are as comfortable and stress-free as possible. As a groomer with 20 plus years of experience, I enjoy keeping up with the latest trends in the industry. I have the best job, not because I play with dogs all day but because I am taking care of a treasured member of the family. Dogs need regular grooming (every six to eight weeks for most breeds) because it enhances their appearance and their "pet-ability" (clean dogs always get more attention!) but also keeps their skin, coat, nails, feet and ears healthy! On a personal note, I have two poodles and a middle-school aged son who take up much of my spare time.
Mud Puppy Spaw offers dog grooming, of course, but so much more is added to your dog's spaw experience. The goal is to provide a calming environment where quality and skilled pet styling is paramount. Strict safety guidelines are always followed to ensure your pet feels safe and trusting while enjoying the soothing music and calming lavender that wafts through the salon. Focus is put on HOWListic grooming addressing the whole dog; because every inch of your dog is touched, previously overlooked issues are often detected and communicated to the owner. A diagnosis is never made but a referral to your vet may be warrented. In addition, Mud Puppy Spaw provides the purest and most natural and beneficial products available.
